Hi,paper is around 4mm thick and will drop U value to around 1.6 from 2.1 on a 9 inch solid wall.

How thick is the paper and what is its thermal resistance?

yes it is breathable and the paper works out at just under 37 per m2 and the adhesive is around a £1 per m2

Is the insulation /adhesive breathable ? and what is the cost per square meter for the papaer and adhesive?

Sounds great. What is the cost of a roll and could you put a skim coat of plaster over it.

Hi Nigel, yes it is perfect for the ceiling and comes in 10m x 0.75m rolls so less joins are showing as well as being quicker to put up on a ceiling than wall paper and paste. The adhesive is also very strong so ideal for sticking to a ceiling over the long term without drooping .

This insulation lining sounds ideal. Can it be used on the ceiling in my dormer bedrooms as there is very little insulation between the ceiling and the roof ?
